SMS & Email Consent Notice

This notice explains how Fixeep, operated by Group Cordova Tech LLC, may contact you by text message (SMS) and phone, email, and browser (web) push notifications, and how you can give, manage, or withdraw your consent. It is part of, and should be read together with, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference.

1.1. Scope of communications

Depending on how you use Fixeep and the permissions you grant, we may send you three kinds of communications:

  • Text messages (SMS) and calls: for account, verification, and, where you have opted in, marketing messages. Governed by the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
  • Email: transactional (for example, a client’s case code, or a Pro’s lead-delivery and billing notices) and, where you have opted in, marketing email. Governed by the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.
  • Web push notifications: optional alerts delivered through your browser, which you enable and disable in the browser itself.

You do not need a Fixeep account to publish a request as a client. Some communications are required to operate the service (for example, sending a client their case code) and are not marketing.

2.2. Text message (SMS) consent: TCPA

Text messaging is opt-in. We never text you unless you have checked the SMS box yourself — when you publish a request as a client, or when you register as a Pro. The box is separate from accepting these terms, it is unchecked by default, and leaving it unchecked changes nothing about the service you get: everything still reaches you by email and web push.

The consent language shown at the point of opt-in states, in both English and Spanish:

  • Who is texting you: Fixeep, operated by Group Cordova Tech LLC.
  • The purpose: service messages about the job you published or the leads assigned to you — for example, asking whether the Pro contacted you, or telling a Pro that their card was declined. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.
  • Message frequency varies.
  • Msg & data rates may apply.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase or of using Fixeep.
  • Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
  • Links to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
Providing your consent to receive marketing text messages is never required to publish a request, register as a Pro, take a lead, or otherwise use Fixeep.

We keep a record of each consent you give (date, time, method, and the exact language shown) so we can honor and evidence it.

3.3. Quiet hours, STOP and HELP

If text messaging is enabled, we will observe applicable quiet hours and will not send marketing texts outside the hours permitted by law in your location.

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out; we will send a single confirmation and then stop sending you further marketing texts.
  • Reply HELP for help and contact information.

Opting out of texts does not opt you out of email or web push; each channel is managed separately.

4.4. Email consent: CAN-SPAM

We send two kinds of email:

  • Transactional email: needed to operate the service, such as a client’s case code and the interested-Pro link, or a Pro’s lead-delivery, billing, and account notices. You cannot unsubscribe from essential transactional email while you use Fixeep.
  • Marketing email: promotional messages you can unsubscribe from at any time.

Every marketing email we send will use an accurate “From” line and sender identity that identifies Fixeep, a non-deceptive subject line, a working unsubscribe link that we honor promptly, and our valid physical postal address:

Group Cordova Tech LLC · 5824 Westower Dr, Richmond, VA 23225

To unsubscribe from marketing email, use the unsubscribe link in any such email, or contact us at [email protected]. We will not sell or transfer the email address of anyone who has unsubscribed.

5.5. Web push notifications

Web push notifications are opt-in through your browser. When you enable them, your browser asks for permission; you can decline, and you can revoke permission at any time in your browser or device settings for our site.

Disabling web push does not affect email or (if enabled) SMS, and it does not stop essential service messages sent by other means.

6.6. Withdrawing your consent

You can withdraw consent for each channel independently: reply STOP to text messages, use the unsubscribe link in marketing email (or contact us), and turn off web push in your browser.

Withdrawing consent stops the affected marketing communications. We may still send you transactional or service messages required to operate Fixeep (for example, a case code or a billing notice) by other permitted means, and withdrawing consent does not affect messages already sent.
